The application of a premium fungicidal bio-wash will be applied to the whole roof to ensure all residual moss and algae spores are eliminated.

Once all the repairs and fungicide treatment have cured the gutters, fascias and any dormer window extensions may need to be covered to protect and reduce the risk of any possible over-spray. The contractor will further limit any risk of this occurring by cutting in by hand the exterior perimeter of the roof structure before applying the selected product the the remainder of the roof.

The application process is carried out utilising an airless sprayer, this equipment allows for extremely accurate laying down of the chemical with the contractor applying a substantial base coat that is fully absorbed into the tile structure. Climashield™ coloured roof coating has been designed to penetrate deeply into the tile strata to maximise the protective elements that allows the tiles to breath and expel moisture, flex with the temperature extremes and inhibit future moss and algae growth.

Once the first coat applied to the entire surface has dried out sufficiently a second application is sprayed on to further enhance the attributes of the product.

After a full site tidy up and a final client walk around to ensure 100% customer satisfaction this completes the refurbishment project and will leave you with a pristine roof for many years to come.
